Ergänzt werden die im Rahmen des Holzbaupreises ausgezeichneten und in der Ausstellung vorgestellten Projekte durch aktuelle Fragestellungen zur gesamten Wertschöpfungskette Holz, darunter die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf Wald- und Forstwirtschaft sowie die Chancen der Digitalisierung für Wertschöpfungsprozesse im Handwerk. Neben Fakten und Best-Practice-Projekten setzt die Ausstellung bewusst auf emotionale Ansprache: Expert*innen und „bunte Vögel“ aus der Forst- und Holzwirtschaft räumen mit Mythen auf und vermitteln Begeisterung für den Baustoff Holz. Durch diese lebendigen Testimonials wird Holz nicht nur rational, sondern auch emotional erfahrbar. Die modulare Ausstellung startet im afo ihre Tour durch das ganze Land.

The projects presented in the exhibition are complemented by current issues relating to the entire timber value chain, including the effects of climate change on forestry and forestry management as well as the opportunities of digitalization for value-added processes in the trade.
