Magnificent town houses in Steyr's old town and in the Steyrdorf district bear witness to the wealth generated by the iron trade. The special features of the buildings only become apparent upon entering, as magnificent courtyards from various stylistic periods, such as late Gothic or Renaissance, and picturesque arcades cast a spell over visitors.
